The end of the year always offers an opportunity for thoughtful reflection on the year that has just passed. This year, we've introduced, or re-introduced, you to a many of Saint Paul's most fascinating residents. We're excited about the stories we've shared, and look forward to what's to come.

We focus on home in this issue, in a number of ways. Whether it's MidModMen+friends co-owners Neal Kielar and Jon Mehus teaching you how to decorate your home, or celebrating the holidays at the historic Alexander Ramsey and James J. Hill houses. Home is a feeling we've all experienced, and we are proud to call Saint Paul home this holiday season.

In the September issue meet Capital city champ Dalton Outlaw and celebrate the beauty of late bloomers in the garden of Saint Paul resident Bonnie Blodgett.

In the October issue of Saint Paul Magazine we're measuring Summit Brewing's success by the pint, digging into the city's best comfort food and learning all about the popular Southern style restaurant coming to town.

In the annual Prep Elite issue check in with some of the best and brightest students in Saint Paul.

In the July issue get a glimpse at the many faces of Maria Isa and meet jazz trumpeter Solomon J. Parham.
